Mount Juliet Estate, located in Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland, is a historic property established in 1757 by Somerset Hamilton Butler, the 1st Earl of Carrick. He named the estate in honor of his wife, Lady Juliana, and constructed the Georgian-style Manor House overlooking the River Nore. The architecture features classical Georgian elements, including symmetrical facades and ornate plasterwork, reflecting the elegance of the 18th century. In the early 20th century, the McCalmont family acquired the estate and undertook significant refurbishments, adding modern amenities while preserving its historic charm. Today, Mount Juliet Estate seamlessly blends its rich architectural heritage with contemporary luxury, offering guests a unique experience steeped in history. I captured Mount Juliet #1 in 2019.

Discovering Fine Art

Selecting art that blends naturally with your interior spaces is essential in crafting an environment that reflects your personal style and sensibility. By thoughtfully choosing pieces that resonate with your aesthetic and complement your existing design, you create a cohesive, balanced atmosphere—one that feels lived-in, not staged.

Designed with interiors in mind, my work is created to complement a space, not to compete with it. I don’t create art for art’s sake—I create it to belong. The pieces shown here are offered not as commodities, but as part of an ongoing conversation about how art can quietly enhance, settle into, and transform a space.
