The forest floor softens, warmed by the hush of early spring. Golden blooms flicker through the undergrowth like small embers, scattered with purpose. Among them, a few blue petals—cool, composed—stand apart, not competing, just present. The ground feels alive but unhurried. Everything here is emerging, not yet in full voice, but certain it’s time. I captured Spring Forest Floor 2 in 2025.

Soundscape
The birds sing and you can hear the train in the distance just beyond the forest where this photo was captured. If you listen closely you can hear the train as it dips inside the tunnel then reemerges.

Specifications

Framing
Frame materials are natural solid hardwoods such as oak, maple, and walnut. The black oak and white maple options offer rich colors with minimal visible grain. The natural oak, maple, and walnut frames have a matte oil finish. Frames measure 2 cm wide and 3 cm deep with a 3 cm white matte between the frame and print. All sizes indicated are the finished framed size of the artwork.

Glazing
Spring Forest Floor 2 is mounted underneath 90% UV-protected glossy acrylic glazing to prevent light damage and fading. With museum quality 92% optical clarity, it’s shatter-resistant, safer than glass, and will protect your art for generations.
